Insole lattices

Insole lattices

One insole, between its top and bottom surfaces imported from STEP, filled with lattices in two ways and shown side by side.

Example 1 grades a gyroid by measured plantar pressure: a field smoothed from the pressure readings sets the wall from 0.8 mm where the foot barely presses to 2 mm where it presses hardest. Example 2 splits the insole into zones, each with its own lattice whose layers follow the foot bed: Schwarz P under the forefoot, a fine gyroid under the arch, a diamond mesh at the outer midfoot and a coarser gyroid under the heel, held in a solid rim, toe, band, spine and heel ring.
