Grade Cell Grid
Makes cells bigger or smaller across a cell grid, with one sizing field per grid axis. The grid's outline stays put, so sizes are relative: growing cells in one area shrinks them elsewhere along the same grid line. Grading an already graded grid adds to it.
Inputs
- Cell grid Cell Grid
- Takes: Cell Grid in Solid, Cell Grid on Surface, Grade Cell Grid, Trim Cell Grid
- U scale Number
Relative cell size along u: positive grows cells, negative shrinks them, 0 leaves them. A grid line keeps its length, so growth in one place shrinks cells elsewhere on it.
Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)- V scale Number
Relative cell size along v: positive grows cells, negative shrinks them, 0 leaves them. A grid line keeps its length, so growth in one place shrinks cells elsewhere on it.
Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)- W scale Number
Relative cell size along w: positive grows cells, negative shrinks them, 0 leaves them. A grid line keeps its length, so growth in one place shrinks cells elsewhere on it.
Takes: any block that gives Number (102 blocks)
Advanced (3)
- Keep U ends Yes/No
Stop cells on the two u boundary faces from sliding along those faces.
- Keep V ends Yes/No
Stop cells on the two v boundary faces from sliding along those faces.
- Keep W ends Yes/No
Stop cells on the two w boundary faces from sliding along those faces.
Output
Cell Grid
Used by: Lattice in Solid, Grade Cell Grid, Tile Cells, Trim Cell GridProperties
Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.
- JacobianDeterminant Number
How much the Cell Grid stretches volume at each point.
- U Number
The first cell coordinate at each point, counted in cells.
- V Number
The second cell coordinate at each point, counted in cells.
- W Number
The third cell coordinate at each point, counted in cells.
