Vector Angle

Angle in degrees between two vectors, from 0 to 180; a zero-length vector gives 0. With a vector field wired, the result is that angle at every point, as a field.

Inputs

A Vector

First direction.

Takes: Vector, Position, Sample Gradient, Reaction Force, Combine Components, Gradient
B Vector

Second direction.

Takes: Vector, Position, Sample Gradient, Reaction Force, Combine Components, Gradient

Output

Number

Used by: any block that takes Number (95 blocks)

Properties

Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.

Ceiling Number

The value rounded up to a whole number.

Floor Number

The value rounded down to a whole number.

Negative Number

The value with its sign flipped.

Round Number

The value rounded to the closest whole number.

ScalarField Number

The value as a field with the same value everywhere.

List List of Number

This value in a Number List of one.

Scalar Number

The number itself (kept for documents that read a whole number as a real one).

Text Text

The number written out as text.
