Fixes a point, or a face selection rigidly coupled to it. With faces wired, only all six motions fixed (the faces held whole) or all six free is accepted; without faces the nearest node or joint to the point is fixed, and its rotations can be fixed only at a beam's joint: a solid's or a shell's point carries translations alone, and a fixed rotation there is refused.
The point to fix (default origin); with faces wired, the reference point of the rigid coupling.
Optional faces rigidly coupled to the point, from Faces in Solid. Unwired: only the point is fixed.
Movement in x: 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free. Other values are refused.
Movement in y: 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free. Other values are refused.
Movement in z: 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free. Other values are refused.
Rotation of the point about x, held only at a beam's joint (a solid's or a shell's point carries translations alone, and a fixed rotation there is refused). With faces wired the coupling is rigid, so the six motions go together: all 0 holds the faces whole, all empty leaves them free. 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free. Other values are refused.
Rotation of the point about y, held only at a beam's joint (a solid's or a shell's point carries translations alone, and a fixed rotation there is refused). With faces wired the coupling is rigid, so the six motions go together: all 0 holds the faces whole, all empty leaves them free. 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free. Other values are refused.
Rotation of the point about z, held only at a beam's joint (a solid's or a shell's point carries translations alone, and a fixed rotation there is refused). With faces wired the coupling is rigid, so the six motions go together: all 0 holds the faces whole, all empty leaves them free. 0 fixes it, empty leaves it free. Other values are refused.
Optional frame whose axes x, y and z refer to. Unwired: the global axes. A frame not aligned with the global axes needs all or none of the movements, and all or none of the rotations, fixed.
Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.
