Frame

A local coordinate system: an origin plus three perpendicular axes. X is taken as given, Z is X cross Y, and Y is adjusted to be square to both.

Inputs

Origin Point

Origin, from a wire; replaces the typed value.

Takes: any block that gives Point (13 blocks)
X axis Vector

X axis, from a wire; replaces the typed value.

Y axis Vector

Y axis, from a wire; replaces the typed value.

Output

Frame

Used by: any block that takes Frame (13 blocks)

Properties

Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.

Origin Point

Where the frame's three axes meet.

Transform Transform

The affine map from this frame's local coordinates to world coordinates.

XAxis Vector

The frame's unit X direction.

XyPlane Solid

The plane spanned by X and Y; its normal is the Z axis.

XzPlane Solid

The plane spanned by X and Z; its normal is the Y axis.

YAxis Vector

The frame's unit Y direction.

YzPlane Solid

The plane spanned by Y and Z; its normal is the X axis.

ZAxis Vector

The frame's unit Z direction.
